iButlers integrations with PMS and calendars

Read iButlers connection guides for Smoobu, Hostaway, Hostex and AvaiBook, and distinguish PMS integrations from iCal calendars.

Choose how your bookings arrive

Connecting your bookings is the first step in preparing check-in. This directory brings together the available iButlers guides and helps you choose a process based on the system you already use.

An API connection, an iCal calendar and a manual booking provide different information. Check which details come through, which accommodation they belong to and what still needs to be completed before arrival.

Connection guides for PMS and channel managers

Smoobu

The guide describes connecting with an API Key, assigning properties and the options for sending the check-in link.

Hostex

AvaiBook

iCal calendars from your booking channels

If you use a calendar, start by finding the export link in the source channel. Then check its scope: a calendar should not be treated as a complete booking and guest record.

What to check when activating a connection

  1. Identify the same property or unit in both systems.
  2. Review a known booking: dates, reference, accommodation and status.
  3. Check which details are imported and what each guest needs to complete.
  4. Review existing connections to avoid importing the same booking through two different channels.
  5. Confirm how changes and cancellations are reflected before automating the process.

Permissions, plans and screens may vary by provider. The guides document a process; they do not assume a particular synchronisation frequency or a two-way connection for every service.

From calendar to check-in

The synchronised booking provides the context for the stay. Guest registration and checking the reporting result are tasks you should review separately.
