AvaiBook’s public help includes an integration with iButlers. This guide helps you prepare the connection and check the result. Use the provider’s documentation for on-screen instructions: plans, permissions and interfaces are not assumed to be identical.

What to prepare before starting

List the properties you want to link and their names in each system. If you manage several units in the same building, add a reference that distinguishes them. Resolving this mapping before connecting helps prevent bookings being assigned to the wrong property.

  • Authorised access to the relevant account in each service.

  • A property list and the person responsible for the connection.

  • An inventory of calendars or other connections already active for those units.

  • A booking you can review to check the result without creating fictional submissions.

The process documented by AvaiBook

The official entry starts in AvaiBook’s Integrations and Marketplace. It then describes selecting properties and using a connection credential in iButlers’ Advanced Management, with AvaiBook selected as the PMS. Consult that entry during setup: never share the credential in screenshots, public links or open messages.

Check the account before saving

Before saving, check that you have selected the correct account and property. If an option in the guide is missing, ask the relevant service’s support to confirm it; do not substitute another credential or try random permissions.

How to check property mapping

  1. Compare each accommodation unit

Compare the name and reference of each unit in both services.

  2. Review a known booking

Review a known booking: property, dates, reference and status.

  3. Check the fields

Determine which fields are imported and which must be completed during check-in.

  4. Confirm the changes

Confirm how the connection handles amendments and cancellations. Do not assume an undocumented synchronisation frequency or direction.

  5. Review previous connections

Check whether an older calendar still supplies the same booking. Before changing it, check the effect on upcoming arrivals.

If a booking does not appear where expected

Record the time of the check, the source service and the affected property. First review unit mapping and connection status. When asking for help, describe the symptom and use an appropriate support channel; avoid attaching identity documents or access credentials.

Booking synchronisation does not replace checking guest details and does not, by itself, confirm that a submission to the authorities has been completed. Check each stage of your arrival process.
