Must I send the booking report to SES Hospedajes?
If you have tourist accommodation in Spain and use Airbnb, Booking or any other platform to get bookings, you have probably wondered whether you need to submit the booking report to SES Hospedajes or whether Airbnb, Booking, etc. take care of it.

The booking report is the document containing information about your guests’ booking. This report is different from the arrival report, which you must submit when your guests arrive at the property.
According to the official response from SES Hospedajes, if Airbnb receives the customer’s booking directly, then Airbnb must submit the booking report.
This is due to Article 2.3 of Royal Decree 933/2021, which states that the obligation falls on the company with the direct contractual relationship with the guest.
In other words:
- If the guest books directly through Airbnb → Airbnb submits the booking report.
- If you receive bookings by phone, WhatsApp or through your website → you must send it.
Guest arrival reports
That said, you remain responsible for submitting the arrival report when your guests arrive. For this, there is nothing better than iButlers.com: for just 4 € a month, forget about paperwork and potential penalties.
AVOID FINES
Failure to comply with this obligation may result in administrative penalties. The Royal Decree requires the information to be stored for 3 years and submitted correctly to the authorities.
